Abstract
Acne is a chronic inflammatory skin disease involving the hair follicles and sebaceous glands. It mainly occurs in adolescence, with a incidence rate of 85% among adolescents. Its clinical manifestations are characterized by facial acne, papules, pustules, nodules and other polymorphic skin lesions. After adolescence, the related symptoms will naturally alleviate or recover, but some of them will leave permanent scars that affect the appearance and destroy the patient's personal image, resulting in social barriers, Causing obvious mental health problems for patients, and more seriously, the decrease in immune function due to chronic inflammation leads to the occurrence of complications that endanger life.
Based on the above background, this case prepares an amphiphilic polysaccharide gel that has antibacterial and moisturizing effects, can control persistent inflammation, promote wound healing, and reduce scar formation by combining the pathogenesis of acne and the treatment difficulties of persistent inflammation, hoping to open up a broader path for the medical market to treat acne and its wound anti-inflammatory and healing.
