On the morning of November 4, Shenglan Tang, Professor of Duke University School of Medicine and Director of the Global Health Research Center at Duke Kunshan University was invited to visit our school. NingShao Xia, Director of the National Key Laboratory of Infectious Disease Vaccine Research and Development and Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, President Jun Zhang, Vice President Liu Gang and representatives from the faculty attended the exchange meeting. Both sides carried out in-depth discussions on the internationalization of vaccines and diagnostic products, collaboration on global health projects, and talent cultivation.

Prof. Tang introduced in detail the Innovation Lab for Vaccine Delivery Research of Duke Kunshan University, the progress of the Gates Foundation's projects on the internationalization of vaccines and diagnostic products, as well as the discipline development and teaching features of global health. He expressed his hope to strengthen practical cooperation with our school in vaccines and diagnostic reagent productions ,research and international exchange.

Prof. Xia highlighted the progress and leading products in vaccine and diagnostic reagents, hoping to leverage the strengths of platforms such as the National Key Laboratory of Infectious Disease Vaccine Research and Development, and to strengthen the cooperation with Duke University and the Gates Foundation, jointly advancing the internationalization of vaccines and diagnostic reagents.

President Jun Zhang noted that both sides have distinctive features and complementary advantages. In the future, we can fully integrate Duke University's international influence in the field of global health with the regional characteristics and product advantages of Xiamen University, prioritizing the expansion of collaborative exchanges with regions such as ASEAN countries. He expressed the expectation to further strengthen communication and promote the implementation of various cooperation intentions.
